A couple weekends ago we celebrated the end of harvest which means Darryl is finally home. Well he was that weekend anyway. I have gotten used to knowing what comes with being married to farmer. As long as the ground is not covered in snow there is still lots of work to be done! So yes harvest is over but my husband is still working late a lot of the time. We celebrated with a family day to the Assiniboine Park Nature Playground which I have to say impressed us so much! If you have not been make it a must go to at least once next summer. Part of the ground is covered in some sort of rubber which makes it soft to run around on, there are music stations, and sand/water tables. It has a secret garden feel which vines and flowers everywhere. Wilder had so much fun! After the park we went to Boon Burger which is a vegan restaurant (my choice obviously)! You do not have to be vegan to enjoy their food!! That is a common misconception but I have taken countless friends and family and have heard great reviews from them!
