I love getting away for the weekend especially with family. We went to Clear Lake or Wasagaming in Riding Mountain National Park! We tried out the new coffee/ice-cream/ boutique hotel The Lakehouse. It was amazing and you have to be sure to check it out when you go! We stayed in the campground which was a 5 minute walk to town. There are so many cute shops and great food places is Wasagaming! We spent Saturday afternoon buying jewellery, grabbing lattes, and exploring the museum!

               It was definitely an adventure camping with two babies though! The first night there were 6 adults, Jenna (my parents dog), and Wilder all sleeping in a camper which was fine but every time someone went to the bathroom or moved…or exhaled…Wilder was up. My brother Kevin rated the night a 3/10. I think he was being generous!! There was also a wicked thunderstorm which didn't help matters. But the next night Wilder got moved into the queen suite which has sliding doors and he slept MUCH better. What a spoiled boy haha!! That night was 1000 times better. It was so fun to see Charlie and Wilder interact and be "cousins" together. They are going to have so many adventures together!! We cannot wait to go camping again!!!

             Clear Lake is a total must of the summer for us! And if you make your way up make sure to stop in Onanole (the town right before you enter the park) and pay a visit to Poor Michaels! There are thousands of books, records, gifts, and super amazing coffee. We always stop there on our way out to grab a latte for the road. Below are some picture from Poor Michaels. Ps.
