This month the question asked was "What does time for yourself look like?" It was fun receiving all the different emails of what these mommas do to keep themselves fuelled through out the business of life. Time for rejuvenation is important and as a mom I have realized it sometimes mean being intentional about your scheduling or intentional about asking for help from those around you. Enjoy these photos and hopefully you will be inspired by them!

Time for myself has changed drastically since I became a mother. It looks like waking up early to read and pray before my littles wake up. It’s a homemade latte during afternoon quiet times. It’s sitting in the warm sun while the kids play in the back yard. It’s finding outlets for my creativity daily, whether that means baking, decorating, knitting, writing, singing, or photographing. It often doesn’t last more than ten minutes, but I have learned to grab those moments whenever I can - whenever I’m not neglecting the ones I love. It’s letting go of the things that really don’t matter and learning to be kind to myself.

Sabrina -I had to think for a minute before I figured out what time for myself looked like. Oh, there's my hair or even grocery shopping that I may do by myself, but its more of a necessity and not a "I'm going to do this FOR myself today". Nap times are spent catching up on cleaning, dishes, laundry or a shower...but this encourages me to do a little more for me, now that Arial is a getting older and can amuse herself for periods of time.
New mom to join this project Angela!! Welcome!

I started running again 2 1/2 months ago. I love it. I like to run in the mornings right after breakfast and even though Wilder is always present I still view this as "time for myself" because it is the time of the day I take care of myself physically and mentally.

Well done girls. You are better wives and mom's if you don't feel neglected. Bless you all!
